ORDER :

                     In the Government Orders 1st and 2nd read above, Government have issued orders constituting Andhra Pradesh State Forestry Committee and District Forestry Committee for the purpose of implementation of the concept of Joint Forest Management in the State of Andhra Pradesh . In the letter 3rd and above, Prl. Chief Conservator of Forests has made a proposal for constituting a sub-committee in the Tribal areas to coordinate ad facilitate implementation of the concept of Joint Forest Management in a smooth way.

 

2.Government have examined the proposal of Prl. Chief Conservator of Forests and it is decided to constitute sub-committee for Forestry at the Integrated Tribal Development Agency level with the following members:-

 

1. Project Officer, Integrated Tribal Development Agency Chairman.

2. 2 Non-Government Organisations to be nominated by Project Officer, ITDA   Member

3.10 Members from Vana Samrakshana Samithi in the Agency areas, to be nominated by Project officer, ITDA Member

4.Sub-Divisional Forest Officer/Divisional Forest Officer in ITDA Head quarters Member Convenor                 

 

3.The above mentioned sub-committee shall address themselves to the problems in carrying out the delibrations/decisions of th Andhra Pradesh  State Forestry Committee and the District Forestry Committee at the field level. The sub-committee will be responsible for implementation of  Joint Forest Management concept within its jurisdiction.

4.The Committee should meet at frequent intervals and atleast once in a quarter and should send reports  to the Collector and the Chief Conservator of Forests District at regular intervals.
